Zal, the Iranian hero, goes to a hunting ground near Kabulestan for leisure and hunting.
Mehrab, the king of Kabulestan, hurries to meet him and warmly welcomes him.
The young Zal realizes that Mehrab has a daughter 'beautiful and graceful' and upon hearing descriptions of her, he becomes enamoured.
But on the path of this love, there is a barrier , one that no strength of arms, however mighty, can overcome.
