About the show

Senescence,
Or Ageing Gracelessly

By Frolic & Fiasco

Being Old Rocks!! ... Well no, Ageing isn't much fun. The best you can do is have a laugh about it. So, this one-person show of comical storytelling invites you to laugh along with (or laugh at) Donnie's tales of unwelcome agedness.

Delightful topics include Aged Frailty, Dewlaps, Memory failures (short and long term), Absent-Mindedness, "Senior Moments"---and there's even some Shakespeare to lend some dignity to the mix.

If You are old, or have old persons in your life, this show's for You! (Trust me.)

We acknowledge that we are on land and surrounded by water that is the traditional territory of the Anishnaabeg people of the Three Fires Confederacy which includes the Ojibwe, Potawatomi, and Odawa.  Before Europeans arrived, the land along both sides of the river was referred to as Waawiyaatanong -- we are grateful to live, work and play in this area.

We give thanks to the land and water for sustaining us and honour the history and culture of all the Indigenous Peoples who have inhabited this area since time immemorial.
